The big picture

Three instructional days, woven together.

Blue Moose Academy serves as the primary provider of instruction across all three instructional days. Learning is delivered through a combination of on-campus classes and a school-directed off-campus instructional day, all aligned with school-led objectives.

Tuesday & Thursday

On-Campus Instruction

Two days each week, students gather on campus for in-person classes led by Blue Moose Academy mentors.

  • Instruction and mentor-guided learning in core academic subjects
  • Rich literature and storytelling
  • Hands-on projects and collaborative learning
  • Art, nature study, and creative expression
  • Discussion, connection, and community
One to Two Days Weekly

School-Directed Off-Campus Instruction

Blue Moose Academy designs and directs instructional material that may be completed over 1–2 days. This extends and reinforces on-campus learning around two primary areas of focus.

Area One
Beauty & Wonder

Exploration of art, poetry, literature, culture, and nature study through curated resources and experiences.

Area Two
Core Skills

Development of foundational academic skills through school-provided instruction and guided practice.

  • Coordinated field discovery experiences connected to subjects taught throughout the year
  • Clearly outlined lessons with assignments and objectives designed by Blue Moose Academy
  • Dedicated teacher support
  • Families support students in completing this work at home, following school-directed plans

We take on the weight of planning and instruction so families can focus on what matters most: being present, engaged, and connected in their child's education.
